To Malealea Lodge

A bridge has collapsed on the main tar road to Malealea from Maseru and Mafeteng/Wepener. A temporary bridge has been built to the left of this bridge and vehicles are able to cross this temporary bridge in dry weather only. If there are heavy rains this temporary bridge is not passable as it floods over. Most of the big rains are over as we go into Autumn so this temporary bridge will be ok for the meantime while the main bridge is being repaired.

If you cannot cross the temporary bridge because of bad weather, then you have to use this alternative route to Malealea. About 100 metres back from the collapsed bridge is a turn off onto a gravel road. Click here to access this route
